Services for Thurman Patisaul, age 77 of Rentz, will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 19, 2013 at Snow Hill Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Rev. Wayne Poole and Rev. Greg Lowery will officiate. Mr. Patisaul was the son of the late Homer Gordon Patisaul and the late Annie Mae Woodard Patisaul. He was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church and was retired from D & W Farms. In addition to his parents, Mr. Patisaul was preceded in death by two brothers, Wilburn Patisaul and Wilton Patisaul, and one sister, Evelyn Patisaul Register. Mr. Patisaul died Thursday, August 15, 2013. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Lavene Kennedy Patisaul; children, Thurman Joseph (Joe) Patisaul, Jimmy (Gail) Patisaul, Jeffery Patisaul, Randy (Sherry) Patisaul, all of Rentz, Margie Faye Patisaul Ortiz, of Eastman; sisters, Merlon Turner, of Gordon, and Nora Lee Grinstead, of Perry; twenty grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Thomas Wesley Clark, Jr., Jay Jones, Justin Morua, Jr. Morua, Chris Slaton, Zachary Patisaul, Rodney Garrett, and Matthew Brynteson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Patisaul home.
