Funeral Services for Tommy Spivey, age 72, of Dublin will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Jack Key will officiate. Mr. Spivey was the son of the late Charlie and Inez Keen Spivey. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dublin. Mr. Spivey also served as a Scout Master. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Spivey and a brother, Jimmy Spivey. He passed away June 27, 2012. He is survived by two sons, Timothy H. (Karen) Spivey and Travis H. (Gena) Spivey both of Dublin; two granddaughters, Leah Spivey and Samantha Spivey both of Dublin; grandson, Drew Spivey of Dublin; two brothers, Harold Spivey and Billy Spivey, both of East Dublin; special friends, Robbie Ballard, Doug Ballard and Neal Tomlinson and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
