Services for Tony L. "Pat" Floyd, age 77 of Dublin, will be held at 2:30PM on Friday, July 5, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Cochran. Dr. Kelly Pritchett and Rev. Paul Wilkes will officiate. He passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. Mr. Floyd was a Veteran of the United States Army and of the Baptist faith. He retired from Warner Robins Air Force Base. Pat enjoyed fishing, yard sales and visiting family. His greatest love was for his family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Efford Floyd and Willie Cranford. Survivors include his wife, Mary Floyd of Dublin; daughter, Toni (Jim) Chavis of Warner Robins; step-daughter, Charlotte (Sanford) Myers of Liberty, SC; sisters, Mary Ann Stevens of Dublin and Patricia (Buddy) Horne of Statesboro; brother, Charles (Sandra) Rooks of Macon; granddaughter, Amanda (Tommy) Fountain of Dry Branch; grandson, Chip (Tasha) Jones of Cochran; sister-in-law, Louise Blakey of Dublin; brother-in-law, Doyle Looney of Anderson, SC; great-grandsons, T.J. and Trent Fountain of Dry Branch; granddaughters, Mary Katherine and Caroline Myers of Liberty, SC and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Gene Kirkpatrick, Doc Churchwell, Chip Jones, John Mobley, Mike Looney, Tommy Fountain and Amanda Fountain. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Rooks, Jr. Mathis, Doyle Looney and Kenneth Fontenot. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until funeral hour on Friday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
