Valerie Lynn Kennedy, age 42, passed away on March 7, 2022.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Snowhill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Kennedy was born in Bibb County on December 13, 1979, and was a homemaker who enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved everyone and never met a stranger.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, France and Pauline Colegrove; and her paternal grandparents, Howard and Zelma Hunsinger.

She was survived in life by her spouse, John Berry Kennedy; son, Bryan Kennedy; brother, Jason (Karen) Hunsinger; parents, Ronald and Vickie Hunsinger; sister-in-law, Mary Kennedy, and father-in-law, Valda Kennedy; brother in law, Hank Kennedy (Kay); nieces and nephews: Alexus Dawn Hunnicutt, Paul Anthony Register, Marie Judy, Matt Kennedy, Layne Cox, Taylor Calder, and Bren Ivey; great-niece, Aubree Hunnicutt, and good friend, Mae Gordon.

For all who wish to pay their respects, Mrs. Kennedy will lie in state at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday from Noon until 5:00 PM and on Friday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM.
