Services for Vera Carroll Fraser, age 104, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, April 9, 2015 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. David Currie will officiate. Mrs. Fraser was a native of Glascock County. She was a resident of Dublin for many years where she was manager of Mary Dell Shop. She also resided in Tucson, Arizona for several years, moving back to Dublin in 1980. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Bennett Carroll and Annie Susie Braswell Carroll, her husband, James Robert Fraser, children, Carolyn Tillery Freeman, and L.Q. "Walke" Tillery. Survivors include her grandchildren, David Freeman, Cathy Tanzine, Mitch Freeman, Mike Tillery, Brad Tillery, great grandchildren, Zack Freeman, Adric Freeman, Carrie Boatwright, Tillery Tanzine, Michael Tanzine, Heather Theus, Jessica Tillery, nieces, Gayle Allen, Nell Graham, Betty Lou Mosley, and nephew, Tommy Carroll. David Freeman, Mitch Freeman, Brad Tillery, Mike Tillery and Adric Freeman will serve as pallbearers.
