Services for Vera Jaunice Joiner, age 82 of Dublin will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Robert Rogers, Rev. Cole Morris and Dr. Charles Strickland will officiate. Mrs. Joiner was born in Laurens County to the late Alfonzo Baggett and the late Reva Warren Baggett. She was a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. Mrs. Joiner was retired from Mohawk Industries and was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and MeMe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus Carl Joiner; sisters, Christine Mackey, Ann Sumner and Martha Sue Clements; brothers, Dewey Baggett, Robert Baggett and Billy Baggett and a son-in-law, Rick Werth. Mrs. Joiner passed away on Monday, February 06, 2012. She is survived by her two daughters, Janice (Ronald) Daniel of Dublin and Judy Werth of Douglasville; granddaughter, Ronda (Brad) Ely of Dublin; four grandsons, Mark (Shana) Efird of Milledgeville, Frankie (Shelby) Werth and Michael (Jessica) Werth, both of Douglasville and Wade (Shannon) Daniel of Warner Robins; two great-grandsons, Dylan Efird of Milledgeville and Griffin Mullis of Warner Robins; two great-granddaughters, Callie Jae Daniel of Warner Robins and Kellie Werth of Douglasville; two brothers, Charles Baggett of Shreveport LA and Warren Baggett of Macon and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Mark Efird, Wade Daniel, Dylan Efird, Brad Ely, Kenny Daniel, Don Elliott, and George Gornto. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
