Vinson Earl Drew, age 74, of Dublin, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2016 after an extended illness.

Services will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Minter Cemetery. Rev. Danny Dugger, Rev. Myron Wise and Rev. Ben Edwards will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Henry Whitfield, Jimmy Rogers, Kevin Tanner, Justin Morgan, Jason Wood, Paul Hester, Chris Marsh and Jimmy Allen.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Drew was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Gates Rubber Company as a Regional Hydraulic Manager. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Drew was preceded in death by his parents, T.L. and Ruby Warnock Drew; sister, Donnie Drew and brothers, Doyle Drew and George Drew. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Wright Drew of Dublin; daughter, Tina Foskey (Wayne) of Dublin; son, Shannon Drew (Christy) of Macon; grandchildren, Logan Mixon of Macon, Shannon Spires (Jon) of Dublin; Dana Oxford (Blaine) of East Dublin and Thomy Foskey of East Dublin ; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Larry Drew (Susan) of East Dublin and Jerry Drew (Trish) of Dublin; sister, Susie Johnson (Quincy) of East Dublin and several nieces and nephews.
