Services for Virginia Smith, age 79 of Dublin, will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Marie Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Nolon McDaniel will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM until funeral hour at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending her Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cynthia Napier. Mrs. Smith passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013. Survivors include her husband, William Smith of Dublin; three daughters, Patricia (Clem) Burns of Dublin, Debra Griffin of Claxton and Sandra Hobbs of Spokane, WA; son, David Smith of Myrtle Beach, SC; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
