Wallace Wright, age 77, of Dexter, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016.

Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, October 24, 2016 at New Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Ken Rodgers, Rev. Greg Lowery and Rev. Gerald Frazier will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Jake Howard, Cody Woodard, Tyler Woodard, Dusty Woodard, Andy Smith and Don Bryant.

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Wright was an active member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time at the lake house. He was a Mason and also a former member of the Georgia National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Velma Wright, and daughter-in-law, Sabrina Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Lynette Wright, of Dexter; sons, Stan Wright (Melinda), of Cadwell, and Brad Wright, of Dexter; daughter, Niki Wright Mullis (Joey), of Warrenton; step-sons, Greg Woodard (Michelle) and Mike Woodard (Donna), both of Dublin; grandchildren, Hannah Wright Howard (Jake), of Cadwell, Hayden Wright, of Cadwell, Gracie Wright, of Dexter, Will Mullis, of Warrenton; Dusty Woodard, Tyler Woodard, Cody Woodard (Miranda), all of Dublin; great-grandsons, Tristan Howard and Cohen Howard, of Cadwell, and Lawson Woodard, of Dublin.
