Graveside services for Wayne E. "Butch" Brown Jr., age 56 of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 20, 2012 in Northview Cemetery. Rev. Chris Dixon and Rev. Joe Brown will officiate. Mr. Brown was the son of the late Wayne Brown Sr. and was of the Baptist faith. He was the owner and operator of Wayne Brown Transmission Service and a former employee of New Holland Tractor Company. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his sister, Margie Vann Brown. Survivors include wife, Jan Brown of Dublin, son, Chuck Brown of East Dublin, two special granddaughters, Maci Brown and Tori Brown both of East Dublin, mother, Virginia Brown Townsend (Walter) of East Dublin, two sisters, Debbie Alligood (Steve) of Cadwell and Janice Alligood of Dexter, brother, Jim Sell (Jeanette) of Dublin and several nieces and nephews. Mitchell Childers, Keith Brooks, Jeff Hooks, Travis Hatcher, Brian Alligood, Tommy Gilder, Shawn Puckett, and Chan Alligood will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
