Wayne Delton White, 85, of Cedar Grove, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021.

A graveside service for Wayne will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Powell will officiate.

Roger Wommack, Keith White, Danny Ward, Jeff White, Rusty Butler, Mark Purvis, Bill Barrow and Monty Neal will serve as pallbearers

Mr. White was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin Dock White and Ida Pearl Parrish White, granddaughter, Amber Braddy Plsek, best friend, Lucky, brother, L.W. White, sisters, Alma Bracewell, Doris Thigpen, and Elsie Swinson.

Wayne White retired from Lovett and Brinson Gin and Fertilizer, and he farmed most of his life. He married his high school sweetheart, June Wommack White in 1956.  He was a member of the Union Springs Baptist Church and the Whiteford Lodge 101 F&AM and served as Worshipful Master at one time. He was a loving husband, great father, grandfather and brother.

Survivors include his wife, June White of Cedar Grove, daughter, Shelia (Greg) Braddy of Cedar Grove, sisters, Nell Davidson of Macon, Maudell Browning of Tennessee, Gayle Purvis of Warner Robins, brother-in-law, Jimmy Wommack of Cedar Grove, and numerous nieces and nephews.
