Services for Wendell Eli Andrews, age 68 of East Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in the chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Silver Leaf Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ronnie Powell will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral Home. Mr. Andrews was a native of Laurens County. He was the son of the late Herbert Andrews and the late Mary Sue Roland Andrews. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Mr. Andrews was an avid fisherman and hunter. He passed away, Sunday, July 20, 2014. Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Andrews of East Dublin, daughters, Deborah Oxford (Wallace) Alford of Twin City, Renee Oxford (Greg) Carter of Dublin, Ginger Andrews (Monty) Loyd of East Dublin, Nancy Andrews (Tim) Jones of East Dublin, Stephanie Andrews (Fred) Reese of Wrightsville, brothers, Leonard (Ethel) Andrews of Adrian, Johnny (Delores) Andrews of Milledgeville, sister Peggy Andrews (Donnie) Mullis of East Dublin, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Trey Powell, Austin Powell, Ethan Reese, Tim Jones, Fred Reese, and Charlie Loyd will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be John Pike, Len Andrews, Ricky Carter and Jason Mimbs.
