Obituary

Services for William Joseph Repko, Sr., age 89, of Dublin will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Richard Hart will officiate. Burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. A Rosary Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, with visitation to follow from 6:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Repko, born in New York, was the son of the late Michael Repko and the late Susan Mueller Repko. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II. He moved to Dublin in 1965 and was employed with Laurens Park Mill until his retirement. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for 48 years. Mr. Repko was an avid reader, enthusiastic golfer, enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a loving husband and father. Mr. Repko passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2013. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Madeleine Elizabeth Austin Repko. Survivors include his children, Jacquelyn (Bob) Bailey of Maysville, KY, Peter (Beth) Repko of Gilbert, AZ, William J. "Billy" (Sybil) Repko, Jr. of Brunswick, GA, grandchildren, Heather (Frank) Whitaker, Will Repko, Katie Repko, Ronald (Gladys) Finch, Jay Repko; and great grandchildren, Ben Whitaker and Luke Whitaker. Ronald Finch, Will Repko, Jay Repko, Jep Craig, Jim Defauw, and Pat Marquez will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1559 Highway 441 North, Dublin, GA 31021.
