Yaeko Sakurai Brown, age 87 of Dublin, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013. The family will hold a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Yaeko Brown was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother. She brought great joy and happiness to all who knew her. Yaeko was a tailor with Belk's and Macy's Department Store. She was the daughter of the late Eiji Sakurai and the late Ishi Sakurai. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Glenn Brown; grandson, Alex Brown and a nephew, Neal Poppin. Survivors include her children, Dolores (Ricky) Byrne of Dublin, Glenn Brown of Pittsburgh, PA, Marisa (John) Mobley of Dublin and James Brown of Estero, FL.; grandchildren, Jennifer Byrne (Travis) Hall of Sierra Vista, AZ, William Byrne of Valdosta, Amanda Laird of Plymouth Meeting, PA, Laura Brown of Pittsburgh, PA, Kyle Brown and Krissy Brown both of Estero, FL; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Landon Hall of Sierra Vista, AZ; sisters, Chieko Sakurai of Yokohama, Japan and Mieko S. (Nick) Poppin of San Bruno, CA; and nephew, Yutaka Taniguchi.
