Services for Yvonne Harrison Lord, age 75, of Dublin, will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Bishop Rex Boland will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM Tuesday at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Lord died Friday, November 13, 2015. Mrs. Lord was a graduate of Brigham Young University in Utah and received her Master's degree from Georgia College in Milledgeville. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and retired school teacher with the Laurens County School system. Mrs. Lord was preceded in death by her father, Bennie Ashley Harrison, and brother, Bennie Ashley Harrison, Jr. Survivors include her children, David Ashley Lord (Nancy) Sr. of Dudley, Tamara Lynn Lord Upshaw (Jody), of Marietta; mother, Corine Cooper Harrison, of Dublin; sister, Sylvine Harrison Seeley (Schuyler), of Hyde Park, UT; brother, Larry Harrison (Susan), of Lawrenceville; grandsons, Mitchell Lee Lord, of Forsyth, and David Ashley Lord, Jr. of Dudley; sisters-in-law, Venita Lord Smith (Charlie), of Dublin, Kay Lord Bush, of Dudley, and Jan Lord Oliver (Don), of Perry. Mitchell Lord, David Lord, Jr., Patrick Mayo, Jody Upshaw, Raymond Cooper, and Dennis Cooper, will serve as pallbearers.
