Addie Elizabeth (Smith) Handley

Addie Elizabeth Smith Handley, age 91, of Rentz, passed away April 9, 2024, after an extended illness. Mrs. Handley was retired from the Sporting Goods Department of K-Mart. She attended Eastside Baptist Church.

Mrs. Handley was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Handley, her parents, Walter Ernest Smith and Dorothy Ledbetter Smith, and a brother, W. E. Smith, Jr.

Survivors include her children, Jeff (Nancy) Handley, Rebecca Joan (Kenny) Snelgrove all of Rentz, grandchildren, Ginger (Josh) Hughes and Faith Hughes, a step grandson, K. J. Snelgrove. She also is survived by her siblings, A. C. Smith, Billy J. Smith, and Martha Ellis.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Matt Anderson and Dr. Josh Hughes will officiate.
