Mr. Andrew J. “Andy” Lake, age 57, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024.
Andy was born December 2, 1966 in Dublin, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his father, the late George Lake and a brother-in-law, Shane Wilson. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church and was retired from the Wallace Adams Golf Course at Little Ocmulgee State Park. When Andy wasn’t working in his yard, he and Betty was often traveling. He loved going to their Blue Green timeshare in Florida and spending time with all of his friends. As much as he loved to travel, nothing compared to the time that he spent with his grandchildren. He loved playing bubbles with Piper.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Lake; his mother, Helen Windham; his daughter, Andrea (Ethan) Bailey; his son, Chris Brewer; four grandchildren, Piper Bailey (Lake), Asher Bailey, Bowen Brewer and Bodhi Brewer; two sisters, Gina Wilson and Jennifer (Bobby) Walden; two nieces, Madison Wilson and Morgan Wilson; and two nephews, Logan Walden and Brayden Walden.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the funeral home.
