Angela Irene Clark, age 62, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 13, 2020, in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tommy Pulliam will officiate. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home and Staff respectfully ask all in attendance to follow social distancing guidelines and facemasks are encouraged for all who attend.
Angie was the daughter of the late Richard and Irene Wyatt Clark. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. She never met a stranger and was known for her love of children. She was always encouraging others with a daily phone call or text. Many days were spent writing handwritten letters and cards for relatives and special friends. Angie enjoyed catching and eating fish with her family and before her health declined she loved to travel to spend time with her cousin’s families – Sue Amlins’ in Ohio, Wesley Davis in Florida, and Hollis Clark’s in Barnesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her maternal uncles, Thurman Wyatt (Marjorie), Junior Wyatt, and Wayne Wyatt (Lessie); maternal aunts, Louise Davis (Walter), Mary Swinson (Robert), and Doris Hobbs (Earl); and paternal uncles, Harry Clark (Louise), Johnny Clark (Lucille), Bud Clark (Mattie Sue), Irving Clark (Laura), Lulabelle Ellerbee (Edward), Pauline Williams (Hubert), and Irene VanWinkle (Clyde), and 14 first cousins.
She is survived by her aunt, Carolyn Wyatt, of Dublin, and 27 first cousins and their families.
The family would like to thank the staff of Dublinair Nursing Home and Rehab for their love and care showed to Angie over the last two years.
