Angela Denise (Pruitt) Joiner

Angela Denise Pruitt Joiner, known affectionately as Angela to her friends and family, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024, in Dublin, GA. Born on June 12, 1966, in Cumming, GA, Angela's life was a testament to her loving nature, friendly demeanor, and unwavering faith.

Angela was predeceased by her father, Frank Pruitt, her mother, Thelma Beck, and her sister, Tracy Williams. Her legacy of love and kindness lives on through her devoted husband, Marcus Joiner of East Dublin; her son, Matthew Joiner of East Dublin; her daughter, Alicia (Mark) Maldonado of East Dublin; and her cherished grandchildren, Hunter Joiner, Abigail Joiner, Natalee Hutcheson, and Maverick Maldonado. Angela is also survived by her sisters, Kristie Reddish of Cedartown, GA, Sheila Brown of Rentz, GA, and Jennifer Soles of East Dublin; and her brother, Nathan (Cassiney) Soles of Montrose, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Angela's professional life was marked by her dedication to customer service at Morris Bank, where she worked for many years. Her colleagues will remember her for her unwavering commitment to excellence and her ability to brighten the day of everyone she encountered. Angela's work was not just a job; it was a means of forming lasting relationships and making a positive impact on her community.

She was a member of Calvary's Grace Baptist Church in Ailey, GA, and her faith was the cornerstone of her life. She lived her beliefs through her actions, always extending a hand of friendship and support to those around her.

Angela's heart was always with children, and she loved her family, her church, and her work family deeply. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life and had a unique ability to see the good in people and situations.

Those who knew Angela will remember her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

A service celebrating her life will be had at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 29th, in the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Brian Patrick will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Chapman, Skylar Soles, Daniel McGlohon, Hunter Joiner, Mark Maldonado, and David Burkett.
