Angela Kaye “Angie” Ward passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025, in Dublin, GA. Born on July 22, 1968, Angie's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and courage. Her radiant spirit and unwavering determination touched the lives of many who had the privilege of knowing her.
Angie was preceded in death by her father, Hilton Ward, and her mother, Connie Savage Ward Whittington. She leaves behind a cherished family, including her niece Marsha Greenway, nephew David Greenway, great-nieces and great-nephews Tristan (Lorah) Greenway, Hilton Greenway, Laeton Fulford, Kaleb Fulford, and Tesla Johnson, and great-great-niece and nephew Rosalie and Carson Greenway. She will also be deeply missed by her step-siblings Phil (Melba) Whittington, Stan Whittington, Mitch Whittington, and Sonya (Shawn) Sterling, along with several other nieces and nephews.
Angie's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. She loved her Lord with an unparalleled passion and dedicated herself to studying the Word, often highlighting scriptures in her multiple bibles. Her bibles, filled with notes and reflections, are cherished heirlooms that encapsulate her journey of faith and the wisdom she gleaned from her devout studies.
Her personal qualities were nothing short of inspirational. Angie was the epitome of loving kindness, always extending her warmth and generosity to those around her. Her honesty was unwavering, and her courage in the face of life's challenges was formidable.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 2, 2025 at Calvary Baptist Church, Wrightsville, Georgia, with Rev. Curtis Warnock officiating.
