Myrle Ann Lee passed away peacefully on June 8, 2024, at the age of 67 in Augusta, Georgia. Born on September 8, 1956, in Daytona Beach, Florida, Ann was the beloved daughter of the late Henry S. Lee, Sr. and Betty Lastinger Lee. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold D. Lee, She was a devoted sister, aunt, and friend who lived a life of service, love, and compassion.
Ann's early years were spent in Florida where she was nurtured by her family's unwavering love and support. She is survived by her brother, Henry S. Lee, Jr, her nieces, Niki (Daniel) Pye and Jamie (Tyler) Anderson, and her adored great-nephews, Triston and Dawson Pye, and a sister-in-law, Linda J. Lee.
A patriot at her core, Ann proudly served her country as a veteran of the United States Army. Her dedication to her nation was paralleled only by her commitment to the field of healthcare. After her military service, Ann pursued a career in nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse. Her colleagues and patients alike revered her for her expertise, empathy, and the unwavering care she provided throughout her distinguished career.
Ann's life was a testament to her faith and her community. As a devout Baptist, she lived her beliefs through her actions, offering kindness and support to all those around her. Her faith was her guiding light and provided her with strength and solace throughout her life.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tyler Daniel officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home.
