Ann Collins Stapleton, age 66 of Rockledge, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2021 after an extended illness.
Ann was a native of Laurens County and was a member of Union Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family. Ms. Stapleton was preceded in death by her father, John Edison Collins, and grandparents, Otis G. and Adel Branch.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer Stapleton, her mother, Marilyn Collins, brothers, Don (Susan) Collins, Jimmy (Tammie) Collins, nieces, Donna (Jeff) Mimbs, Dana Morris, Tammy (Garth) Smith, Christin (Jay) King, Lane (Michael) Carter.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM at Union Baptist Church. Rev. Jordy Barwick and Rev. Barron Powell will officiate, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Union Baptist Church Friday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.
Jeff Mimbs, Kyle Mimbs, Cody Mimbs, Rusty Branch, Jay King, and Sonny Warnock will serve as pallbearers.
