Ann Taylor

Funeral services for Patricia Ann Lord Taylor, age 83, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church with burial to follow at Dublin Memorial Gardens. Rev. Wes Pinkley and Rev. James Hughes will officiate.

Mrs. Taylor was born March 16, 1940 in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Clayton Lord and Viola Lucille Cauthen Lord and her husband, C. Fred Taylor, Jr.

Mrs. Taylor retired from Forstmann & Company. She was a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church, where she enjoyed singing with her brother Wendell. Mrs. Taylor loved her family dearly and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known her. She enjoyed reminiscing about growing up at the family home place and days gone by with anyone who would engage in conversation and would give you an earful about her wonderful family. In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by four brothers, James Lord, Wendell Lord, Billy Lord, and Gary Lord, and a sister Cathy Dean. Mrs. Taylor passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023.

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law , Debbie (Louis) Ward, Freddie (Robert) Miles, and Terrie (Nicky) Benton; eight grandchildren Mindy (Brian) Stansfield, Marcey (Jeremy) Wells, Molly (Alex) Hensley, Morgan Miles, Meredith (Clark) Dickson, Nicole (Brett) Shiver, Ross (Jordan) Miles, Cale Benton; eighteen great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Reese, Philip, and Jack Stansfield; Graham, Emmett, Jacob, and Elizabeth Wells; Baxter, Emmy Kate, and Willa Hensley; Rowan and Wilder Shiver; Charis, Eliora, and Miles Dickson; Tucker and Sawyer Miles; a brother, Earl Lord, a sister, Dorothy Branch, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law Ross Miles, Cale Benton, Brian Stansfield, Jeremy Wells, Alex Hensley, Brett Shiver, and Clark Dickson.

The family will receive friends at Poplar Springs North Baptist Church on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. prior to 2:00 P.M. services.
