Annie Ruth (Hall) Long

Annie Ruth Hall Long, age 87, passed away on July 19, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida.

Mrs. Long was born on March 10, 1938, in Midville, GA, to the late Ike and Nelle Burnett Hall. She was a seamstress by trade and found joy in gardening and the beauty of roses. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Long; brothers, John Hall and Ike Hall; and a sister, Margaret McMillan.

She is survived by her son, Joseph A. Long (Kay) of Tallahassee, FL; grandson, Jessie Kyle Long of St. Augustine, FL; great-grandson, Kolton Long of Tallahassee, FL; sisters, Mary Woods of Rincon GA and Shirley McGowan of Richmond Hill, GA; brother, Joe Hall of Baxley, GA, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Old Canoochee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Kelly Maddox and Rev. Robert Fullwood will officiate.
