Barbara Jean (Smith) Coleman, age 90 of Cadwell, was welcomed home into the arms of her Savior on December 10th, 2025, surrounded by her pride and joy, her loving family. Graveside services will be held December 12th, 2025, at 11am at Snow Hill Baptist Church cemetery. Rev. Calvin Halcomb, Rev. Robert “Ox” Marina, and Rev. Brandon Thomas will officiate. Pallbearers will be Hayden Wright, Brian Tapley, Ryan Bowman, Tristan Howard, Cohen Howard and Bryson Tapley.
Mrs. Coleman's life was a testament to her unwavering love and dedication to her home, her adoration to her husband of 59 years and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a shining example of a true Proverbs 31 woman, pouring her heart into her family and her wonderful weekly Sunday lunches.
Mrs. Coleman was born and raised in Cadwell, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents Lewis Kennon Smith Sr. and Eva Warren Smith, and her loving and devoted husband, W. B. "Billy" Coleman. She was a member of Cadwell Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Coleman Bowman of Kathleen, Melinda Coleman (Stan) Wright of Cadwell and Eve Coleman (Ron) Crooks of Cumming. Grandchildren: Ryan Bowman, Hannah (Brian) Tapley, Hayden (RyLeigh) Wright, great-grandchildren, Tristan Howard, Cohen Howard, Braylie Jean Tapley, Bryson Tapley, Elizabeth Tapley and Annaleigh Jane Wright. Brother, Lewis "Kennon" Smith Jr., nephews, Ken (Diane) Smith, Mark Smith and grandniece Sara Smith. Brother-in-law Tommy Coleman and nephew Damon Coleman and special family friend and Mrs. Coleman’s “My Lady” Linda Dassie.
