Barry Price Obituary

Barry Glenn Price, age 57, of Dublin, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at Savannah Memorial Hospital. Born on July 13, 1968, in Dublin, GA, Barry was a man whose laughter and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

The son of the late Maxie E. Price, Barry was also preceded in death by his loving grandparents, James and Hazel Price, Clifford and Josie Rowland, and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Mary Colleen White. Barry's life was filled with the love of his surviving family members. His mother, Fay Rowland Price; his wife, Sharon Lee Price; his daughter, Jamie and her husband T.J. Costlow; his granddaughter, Bonnie Howell; and his grandson, Jensen Costlow, will all treasure his memory.

Barry was a proud graduate of Dublin High School and furthered his education at Swainsboro Technical College. His professional life was a testament to his work ethic and dedication. He spent over thirty years as a transport driver and was currently employed for Tri-National, Inc. Trucking Company. Barry's career took him across the highways of the 48 states, Canada, and Mexico, delivering freight with a sense of adventure and pride in his work.

Beyond his professional achievements, Barry was a man of many passions. As Bonnie’s Poppy, Barry always encouraged Bonnie to pursue her ambition with diligence, enthusiasm, and integrity. He inherited a love for gardening from his grandfather, the late Mr. James E. Price, and cultivated his own garden with the same care and attention. Barry's culinary skills were well-known among his family and friends, as he often delighted them with his cooking. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace and joy in fishing and hunting, activities that allowed him to embrace the beauty of nature, and teaching German Shepherd Cane various commands.

As a member of the Baptist faith, he lived his beliefs through his actions, always extending a hand of friendship and embodying the values he held dear. Those who knew Barry would describe him as funny, friendly, and adventurous. His humor brought light into every room, and his friendly demeanor ensured that he never met a stranger.

A private memorial service was held for Mr. Price on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Kenny Rowland officiated.
