Benjie Peacock Obituary

Benjie Peacock, age 59, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Peacock was a native of Laurens County and a member of the Dublin First Church of the Nazarene. He was employed with Frito-Lay and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed bass fishing, camping, hunting, and woodworking. Benjie was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, GL and Edna Peacock; maternal grandparents, Marvin and Kate Hubbard, and his mother and father-in-law, Aubrey and Annette Soles.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie Peacock, of Dublin; daughter, Samantha Peacock (Matthew Freiberg), of Macon; son, Casey Peacock (Mindy Corbin Peacock), of Americus; parents, L.C and Brenda Peacock, of Dublin; brother, Mike Peacock, of Dublin; sister, Michelle Barlow, of Dublin; grandchildren, Emma Kate Peacock, and Matthew Peacock, both of Macon, and Lilly Corbin, Brantley Philmon, and Rhett Peacock, all of Americus.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Dublin First Church of the Nazarene. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastors Don Hicks, Myron Wise, and LT Logue officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Ron Barrick, Jamie Paige, Tim Lovelace, Glynn Stewart, Ken Rutherford, Chad Mosley, Justin Peacock, and Alan Hubbard.
