Betty Collins

Ms. Betty Knight Collins, age 89, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at her residence.

Ms. Collins was born February 17, 1932 in Dublin, Georgia; she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Emmett Knight and Allie Wood Knight, her husband, Donald Collins and a brother, Milton Knight. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth (Raymond) Watson of Dublin, her son, Steve (Laurie) Collins of Rentzn, three grandsons, Brian Watson of Montrose, Eric Watson of Dublin and Ben (Rebecca) Watson of Eastman, a granddaughter, Missy Jeffers of Dublin, six great-grandchildren, Allison Watson (Dylan) Ward of Savannah, Greyson Watson of Dublin, Allee (Jensen) Drew of Dublin, Ashlee Walker of Savannah, Gage Jeffers of Dublin and Gunnar Jeffers of Dublin and three great-great-grandchildren, Jaelynn Walker  of Dublin, Jagger Drew of Dublin and Emmalee Beth Watson of Eastman.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Rentz City Cemetery with Rev. Danny Duggar officiating.

The Collins family and Townsend Brothers Funeral Home respectfully asks all in attendance to wear a mask and to continue to follow social distancing guidelines.
