Betty Landrum Obituary

Betty Ann Landrum, 75, of East Dublin, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2021, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Landrum was born in Laurens County on August 27, 1945, to the late Felton and Ethel Mae Townsend. She retired from Mohawk Industries and loved to paint pictures in her spare time. She also enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors but her greatest joy was found in spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Landrum was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Landrum; sisters, Lorene Graham and Flossie Smith, and brother, Felton Townsend, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle Squires (Jason); granddaughter, Haley Marie Nobles; grandson, Noah Nobles; sisters, Alice Carr, Dean Hembree, Margaret Kight (Tommy), and Reba Sterling, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Shawn Sterling, Barry Carr, Darrell Thigpen, Chad Townsend, Clyde Steadman, and Darrin Townsend will be pallbearers.
