Betty Coleman Moore, age 90, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022.
Mrs. Moore was a lifelong resident of Dublin and was a 1948 graduate of Dublin High School. She was a lifelong active member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church where she was involved in many ministries including the Busy Bees and teaching Mission Friends. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, crocheting, but most of all she loved her Lord Jesus and her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Tom Coleman, Nellie Ward Coleman Powell, and her stepfather, Joe B. Powell, husband, Wendell Earl Moore, brother, James Coleman, sister, JoNell Moore.
Survivors include her children, Kendell (Zula) Moore, Ricky (Phyllis) Moore, Jeff (Kim) Moore, Katrina (Don) Miller, grandchildren, Jennifer Davidson, Julie (Anthony) Angulo, Lisa Jump, Richard (Leigh) Moore, Nikki (Joey) Jackson, Cassidee Moore, Phillip Moore, Cole (Kimberly) Moore, Ben Miller, Brooke Miller, Numerous great grandchildren and great great- grandchildren, sister, Sue Graham and brother, James (Bonnie) Powell.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Jefferson Street Baptist Church, 2:00 PM, Monday, August 8, 2022. Rev. Kyle Giddens will officiate, and burial will follow in Northview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, Sunday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Richard Moore, Cole Moore, Ben Miller, Phillip Moore, A.J. Davidson and Dawson Perry will serve as pallbearers.
