Mr. Billy R. Wood was born in Laurens County January 16, 1935 to the late Louis Augustus Wood and the late Ulna Mae McConnell Wood. He worked in the trucking and freight industry for many years. Billy had a cheerful heart and was always thankful. The family is sad and processing the loss. We know who he was, what he stood for, and where he is today. His faith was strong, he loved the Savior, and was willing to serve. His motto – “Always leave it better than you found it.”
