Bobby Hackle, 83, of Dublin, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 after a lengthy illness.
Bobby was baptized on November 27, 1988, at Trail Branch Church. He was an active member of Bethel Primitive Baptist Church for many years, never hesitating to take on any job that needed doing. Before his health declined, he attended church on a regular basis. Bobby loved the Lord, his family, and his friends. He loved deer hunting and was a member of the Laurens Hill Hunting Club. He loved the Georgia Bulldogs and didn't mind how loudly he cheered them on.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Elton and Lonnie Lou Williams Hackle; sister, Tina Kirby, and brothers: Billy Hackle, Smith Hackle, Donnie Hackle, Robert Hackle, and Ricky Hackle.
Survivors include his loving wife, Hilda Hackle of Dublin; daughters, Fran Jones (Conway) and Dana Wyatt (Richard); grandchildren, Brandy Rowland, Jamie Smith, and Evan Wyatt; step-grandchildren, Russell Jones, Marshall Jones, and Kyall Jones; four great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Mr. Hackle will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 2, 2024, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Elder Michael Hattaway and Elder Stephen Dyar will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 PM until service hour at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dusty Howard, Autry Howard, Wayne Howard, Danny Shepherd, Johnny Bayto, and Danny Dalton.
