Bonnie Lou Jeskey

Mrs. Bonnie Lou Jeskey, age 78, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Jeskey was born January 23, 1946, in Cleveland Ohio but has made her home in Laurens County since 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Butch Jeskey, and her parents, Victor “Bill” Strauss and Dorothea Gail Eisnaugle Strauss. For the last few years, Bonnie was a homemaker but during her life, she has worked as a hairdresser, bank teller, hotel desk clerk, tutor and as a tax preparer. She was once an active leader in the Girl Scouts and in her Sunday School Class.

She loved spending time with her family and friends and was an active member, organizer, and planner of the local Gold Wing Motorcycle Club before it was disbanded. To her, family was everything and she cherished all of her friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Kimmy Jo Jeskey of Chester; her many fur babies, KiKi, Spook, Trouble, and KoKo; her granddog, Pickles and her grand cat, Blue.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, July 6, 2024, at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel.
