Senior Master Sergeant (Ret) Bonnie Lex passed away peacefully at her home on August 01, 2020, in Cadwell, GA. Bonnie was born July 22, 1953, in Atlanta, GA to Howard Reeves, Sr., and Etta Reeves of Claxton, GA.
Senior Master Sergeant (Ret) Lex was a veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Storm with 21 years of dedicated service to the United States Air Force. During her military career, she served as a Military Training Instructor, First Sergeant, Personnel Technician, and PME Instructor Touching the lives of many men and women of the armed forces.
Bonnie was a caring and generous wife, mother, friend, and sister who loved being with family. As she leaves us to go walk with Angels, she will forever be in our hearts as she will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her husband, Paul Tomas Lex, Sr. with over 44 years of devoted marriage, and four children; daughter, Candy Jones (Chadwick); and sons, Paul Tomas Lex, Jr., William Lex, and Carl Lex. She is also survived by her siblings, Gloria Breland (George), Howard Reeves Jr., Keith Reeves, Phillip Reeves, Pamela Altman (Charles), and Carlos Reeves (Libby); grandchildren, Jacob Bryant, Joshua Bryant, Madison Jones, Matt Jones, Emily Jones, Jon Jones, Sammi Jo Lex, Paul Tomas Lex, III, and Antonia Lex, and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2020, in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time.
