Brent Tate

Brent Tate, age 43, of Dublin, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021.

Brent was born in Laurens County on September 8, 1978, and was a graduate of Dublin High School. He attended Georgia State and Macon State College and was a Regional Manager with AT&T and Bellsouth. Brent was an avid tennis player and member of Pine Forest United Methodist Church. He loved his family and he will be remembered for his sense of humor, quick wit, and kind heart.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gladys Tate Johnson, and his grandfather, Edgar Tate.

Survivors include his parents, Randy and Billie Tate, of Dublin; sister, Rachel Joiner (Bret), of Watkinsville; nephew, Tate Joiner; niece, Millie Joiner; grandparents, Billy and Reta Scarboro, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, at 11:00 AM in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Dr. Joel Dent will officiate.

Pallbearers will be David Franks, Bobby Tate, Mark Tate, Mark Cowart, Herschel White, and Bret Joiner.
