Carolyn Jenkins

Mrs. Carolyn Elaine Jenkins, age 77, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021 following an extended illness.

Mrs. Jenkins was born January 10, 1944 to Wade Poole and Myrtle Crosby Poole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the late J.W. Jenkins, Sr., a brother, Jerry Poole and two sisters, Dorothy Poole and Louise Smith.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and was a retired caregiver. During her free time, she enjoyed taking care of her dogs, bird watching and frequenting the local restaurants.

She is survived by her children, Leisha (Ash) Cochran of Dublin, Susan (Neal) Miller of Gainesville and Jay (Amy) Jenkins of Dublin; five grandchildren, Jackson Cochran, Wesley Cochran, Avery Miller, Emerson Jenkins and Elise Jenkins and four brothers, Larry Poole, Tommy Poole, Louie Poole and Ricky Glover.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Dublin Memorial Gardens with Dr. Cliff Morris officiating.
