Carolyn Elizabeth (Bruder) Turner

Carolyn Elizabeth Turner, age 73, of Dublin, passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service hour. Burial will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Pastor Kyle Giddens will officiate.

Mrs. Turner was born on May 15, 1947, in Norfolk, VA, to the late Robert Bruder, Sr., and Dorris Mae Sawyer Broder. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in college and was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She retired from the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center where she worked as Human Resource Director.  Mrs. Turner was a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church and enjoyed working with the Senior Adults.

She was preceded in death by a son, John Elliott Turner.

She is survived by Christopher Justin Turner, of Dublin; brothers, Robert Martin Bruder, Jr., and Daniel Bruder, both of San Diego, CA.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Townsend Brothers Funeral Home and Staff respectfully ask all in attendance to follow social distancing guidelines.
