Catherine Holmes

Graveside services for Catherine Holmes, age 79, of Wrightsville, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Dublin Memorial Gardens.  Ms. Holmes died Saturday, January 16, 2021.

Ms. Holmes was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church and retired Intensive Care LPN from Fairview Park Hospital.  She enjoyed traveling with her lifelong friend, Martha Brown.

Ms. Holmes was preceded in death by her parents, Sheldon and Bessie Holmes; brother, Tommy Holmes; and sister, Martha Brown.

Survivors include her sister, Shirley Tharpe (Mickey), of Wrightsville; niece, Marci Tharpe Mulkey, of Dublin; nephew, Cody Tharpe (Nicki); great- nieces and great-nephews, Asholyn Tharpe, Audrey Tharpe,  Noah Tharpe, all of Savannah, Seth Newsome (Harley), of El Paso, TX, and Chloe Mulkey, of Dublin.
