Charles Brantley Obituary

Charles Wesley Brantley, age 80, of Soperton, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Fairview Park Hospital.

Mr. Brantley was born in Treutlen County on December 7, 1942, to the late James A. and Myrtice Powell Brantley. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and a devoted AA advocate. He was a loving father, grandfather, and uncle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter F. Brantley; and sisters, Vivian Brantley and Agress B. Fulford.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Braddy (Wally) of Soperton; son, Shawn Brantley (Cheryl) of Hilton Head Island, SC; grandson, Jagger Braddy of Soperton; granddaughter, Scout Braddy of Soperton and Darian Braddy (Chelsea) formerly of Soperton; nephews, Randy Fulford (Mary) and Jimmy Fulford (Carol); niece, Patricia Davis (Joe); several great-nieces and nephews, and special friends.

No services for Mr. Brantley will be held at this time.
