Charles Joseph McCullars

Charles Joseph McCullars, age 83, of Dublin, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2021.

Mr. McCullars was born in Cadwell on February 8, 1938 to the late Mr. Willie A. McCullars and Mrs. Georgia Ann Beck McCullars. He was a member of Snow Hill Baptist Church. Mr. McCullars was a love of sports, he played basketball at Rentz. He is preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, four sisters and a granddaughter Nora Suzanne “Suzic” McCullars.

Services for Mr. McCullars will be held Wednesday July 21, 2021 beginning at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home with burial to follow at Northview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Dan King Sr. will be leading the service.

Survivors include;  his loving and devoted wife, Linda McCullars of Dublin, sons, Jeff McCullars ( Melanie) of Treutlan County, Mark McCullars (Sue) of Cochran, caregiver, Sandra McCullars Lester (William) of Sparta, granddaughters, Angel Toler ( Waylon) of East Dublin, Crystal Livingston (Jammie) of Dublin, grandson, Chad McCullars (Megan) of Dublin, great granddaughters, Bethany and Jessica Toler of East Dublin, sister in laws, Shelby Taylor of Warner Robins, Mavis Heath McCullars (raised Mr. McCullars) of Dublin, Jacquelyn Leach King (special caretaker) of East Dublin, brother, Alfred Durell McCullars of Cadwell. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family wanted to give special thanks to Mrs. Peggy and Mrs. Lindsey from Serenity Hospice and Mrs. Brenda from Always Care for their loving cares for Mr. McCullars. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Serenity Hospice.
