Clark Blackman James Ferry, passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 82. He was an Army Veteran from 1962-1965. He received many awards and accommodations during his service. He was assigned to the First Battle Group, First Infantry United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. Clark excelled as a ranger and he was assigned to teach the cadets how to use a rifle. He was an expert with the Caridno, Caliber 30 and Pistol, Caliber 45.
In 1966, he married his childhood sweetheart, Barbara Nowak, and they had three children; Desirae Patricia 1975-1993, Clark Blackman James, Jr. 1976-1998, and Richard. He retired in 2000 from Con Edison, New York after 30 years of dedicated service as a Computer System Analyst. They raised their family in New Jersey where Clark became a Volunteer Fireman, First Responder, and a teacher of EMT in the local college for 25 years. Clark also volunteered as a First Responder for years at the local BMX track.
Clark is preceded in death by his parents; Clark, Sr., and Marie M. Kelly; sister, Margaret; brother, William, along with his children, Desirae and CJ.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, son, Richard; son-in-law, Jonathan; his brother, John Ferry, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date in the B.G. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arney Town, N.J.
