Claudia Theresa Acree Allen, age 78, of Dublin, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025.
Mrs. Allen was born in Gainsville, Florida on September 10, 1946, to the late Alfred Acree and the late Inez Turner Acree. She retired from the Dublin City School system and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dublin. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, John Acree, Eddie Acree, Ruth Webster, Buddy Acree, and Donnie Acree.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Allen of Dublin; son, Kenneth Allen, Jr. (Mandi) of Dublin; daughter, Sharon Garner (Jimmy) of Dublin; daughter, Leah Stinson (Ross) of Dublin; and son, James Acree (Cindy) of Cadwell; grandchildren:Caleb Garner of Dublin, Morgan Mullis (Ryan) of Montrose, Zach Allen (Josie) of Rentz, Madison Pittman of Grundy, VA, and Jonathan Foskey of Dublin, great-grandchild, Kardyn Mullis of Montrose, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Dublin. Dr. Darrell Paulk. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service hour at the church.
Mrs. Allen will be laid to rest at Orange Hill Cemetery in Williston, Florida, 11:00 AM Thursday January 16, 2025.
Pallbearers will be Jack Baynes, Wallace Miller, Allen Thomas, Wayne Gay, Alan Yauk, and David Senn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Claudia’s memory may be made to First Baptist Church, 405 Bellevue Ave. Dublin, GA 31021.
