Daniel (Danny) Frank Martuscello was born in Amsterdam, NY on January 31, 1942, to the late Daniel Martuscello and the late Alma Bauder Martuscello. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his only sister, Mary Elizabeth Best. He passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024.
He is survived by wife, Carol Currie Martuscello, and children: Amy (Bryan) Rawls, Mandy (Sandy) Kyzer, Chris (Michael) Johnson, and Buck (Vickie) Forte; grandchildren: Alex (Marcus) Roach, Jake (Tiffany) Kyzer, Daniel James (Ashleigh) Rawls, Andrew Rawls, Kylie Rawls, Kade Johnson, Jordyn Johnson, Aiden Forte, Madeline Forte, Grant Hoffman, and Payton Hoffman; and great-grandchildren: Landri, Riggs, and Sutton Roach, and Wesley Kyzer.
An avid golfer, he was a member of the Dublin Country Club. He served on their Board of Directors and was the coordinator for Twilight Couples Golf for several years. He and Carol enjoyed travel and made trips to Israel, the Greek Isles, Europe, Scandinavia, and throughout the United States. He worked for 47 years for Mohawk Industries in Accounting serving in several areas and locations.
He served in the United States Army, stationed in several bases in the United States and Okinawa. He was a graduate of Anderson College and Georgia State College and University. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Dublin, Georgia having served on several committees over the years and led the Tuesday Morning Men's Bible Study.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home
Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at First Baptist Church, Dublin. A private burial will be held following the service. Dr. Cliff Morris will officiate.
Honorary pallbearers are the men from Jack's Friday Morning Men's Group.
Pallbearers will be Jake Kyzer, D.J. Rawls, Andrew Rawls, Marcus Roach, Aiden Forte, and Kade Johnson.
