Daphine Windham Obituary

Daphine Bracewell Windham, age 80, of Dublin, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

Mrs. Windham was born in Laurens County on January 25, 1941. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and was the pianist and organist for over 50 years. She retired from the Department of Human Resources and was an avid gardener who loved her flowers. Daphine was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Everett J. Windham; her parents; Benjamin Bracewell and Emma Lee Harden (Royce); and sister, Gloria McLendon.

Survivors include her sons, Michael Windham (Edie) of Dublin and Chris Windham (Diane), both of Dublin; granddaughters, Amanda Vonier (Will) of Dexter, Melissa Fraser (Wilkes) of East Dublin, Kellie Rogers (Benjamin) of Dublin, and Kristin Watson (Kale) of Dublin, and six great-grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Windham will be held privately.
