Dean Denton

Dean Denton, age 60, of Dexter, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

Mr. Denton was formerly employed with Rentz Cabinet Company as a supervisor and enjoyed fishing, racing, and going to the beach. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Denton; step-father, Lamar Lanthrip, and son, Brian Denton.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Denton, of Dexter; mother, Mary Lanthrip, of Macon; children, Billy Denton (Angela), Renee Dixon (Kevin), of Gray, and Buddy Denton, of Warner Robins; step-children, Nick Herman (Jessica), of Dublin and Kyle Herman (Laurie), of Statesboro; brothers, Gary Denton and William Denton, both of Macon, and Jerry Denton, of Milledgeville; half siblings, Lloyd Junior Denton and Sheila Evans, both of Sandersville and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Services will be held at 4:00PM on Thursday, February 22, 2018 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Pastor Dale Watt will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00PM until service hour at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
