Don Wynn

Don Wynn, age 69, of East Dublin, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

Don was born on July 27, 1953, and called East Dublin his home his whole life. He was a general contractor in his early life, later retiring from General Electric as a Turbine Mechanic.  He enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was always willing to give to others whether it was his time or a need. He found great joy and happiness in spending time with others in conversation and he loved as he gave. Don was also an avid history fan and would learn about the history of any place he was visiting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezra and Myrtle Wynn; and siblings: Charles Wynn, Mary Dollar, and Kay Brantley.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Robyn Wynn of Wrightsville; daughter, Donna King of East Dublin; siblings, Edward Wynn of Brooksville, Fl, Ray Wynn of East Dublin, grandsons: Colton Harrison of Port St. John, FL, J.B. King of East Dublin, Shanan Grover of East Dublin, Jody White (Jara) of Dalton, and Dusty White (Dixie) of East Dublin; eight great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, September 12, 2022, at East Dublin Dayspring Worship Center, 204 Hawkins Street, East Dublin. Burial will follow at Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jimmy Thigpen will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 PM until the service hour at the church.

Pallbearers will be Chris Allen, Cody Allen, C.J. Allen, Robert Stevenson, Graham Stevenson, and Bryan Davis.
