Donald "Donnie" Edward Stinson

Donald “Donnie” Edward Stinson, age 63, of Dublin passed away on June 5th, 2021.

Mr. Stinson was born on February 11, 1958 to the late Mr. Robert Emory Stinson and Mrs. Billie Ruth Brooks Stinson in McRae, GA. He was a simple man and enjoyed spending free time fishing and being on the river. He also liked hunting and the outdoors. Mr. Stinson loved his children. He also had a soft spot for animals. Mr. Stinson was a former employee of Laurens County Public Works for 20 years. He was preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert and Billie Stinson, sisters, Gail Passmore and Linda Fay Daniels, brothers, Robert and Billy Stinson.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Stinson, step children, Crain Couey (Ranea), Casey Manning (Van), grandchildren, Kimber Couey, Kenley Couey, Logan Manning, Landen Manning all of Dublin, brothers, Jimmy Stinson (Donna) of East Dublin, Raymond Stinson (Bennie), Franklin Stinson (Teresa) of Dublin. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 7, 2021 from 6:00 until 8:00 at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
