Donna Grace (Spivey) Lake

Donna S. Lake, age 67, of Dublin, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, in her hometown of Dublin, Georgia. Born on August 30, 1957, Donna was the daughter of the late Don and Dawn Rabun Spivey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Bruce Spivey.

She is survived by her children, Adam Lake (Ashlynn) of Guyton and Misti Lake  Long (Angel Long) of Dublin, and grandson, Landon Lake. Donna is also survived by her brother, Jeff Spivey, and sister, Robin Spivey Copeland, both of Dublin, as well as niece, Jasmine Copeland, and nephew, Alex Johnson.

Professionally, Donna was a self-employed caregiver, a role that suited her innate ability to nurture and support those around her. Her work was not just a job but a calling, as she poured her heart into caring for others with a level of empathy and warmth that only she could provide. Her passion was evident in the lasting relationships she built and the lives she touched.

Donna's interests were a reflection of her loving nature. She loved spending time with her family, and her "grand-dog", Nico. Her presence was a source of comfort and happiness to all who knew her. She had a love of music and a natural ability to make others smile with her amazing sense humor.

A memorial service celebrating Donna’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, in the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Rev. Hugh Spivey will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service hour at the funeral home.
