Doris (Rowland) Hester

Doris Rowland Hester, age 93, of Dexter, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

Mrs. Hester was a member of Little Bethel Freewill Baptist Church and retired from J.P. Stevens. She was owner of Hester’s Greenhouse & Nursery. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Daniel Hester; parents, J.C. and Alice Bush Rowland; brother, J.W. Rowland, and sister, Sybil Garrett.

Survivors include her son, Don Hester (Gwen), of Dexter; granddaughter, Kari Hester, of Dexter; grandson, Rob Hester (Nicole), of Dexter; great granddaughter, Bailey Smith, of Dexter; great grandson, Rocco Greco, of Baltimore, MD; sister, Christine Hobbs, of Dexter, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, May 16, 2019 in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Mr. Mark Rowland will officiate.
