Dorothy Horton Warren passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at the age of 91 in Dublin, GA. Born on June 6, 1934, in Harrison, GA.

Warren; her children, James Wiley Warren, Jeffrey Neal Warren, and Shirley Jean W. Pittman; her sisters, John Ann Boyett, Ella Mae Fordham, and Bronnie Lynn Fordham; and her treasured granddaughter, Leslie Pittman. Despite these profound losses, Dorothy's strength and love for her family never wavered.
She is survived by her daughters, D. Dee (Pat) Padgett and Pamela Warren (Dale) Payne; a son, Paul Erby Warren; her grandchildren, Iris (Ben) Warren, Amy Payne, Joel (Kim) Warren, Paula Warren, Reggie (Joanne) Warren, Jeremy Warren, Luke (Brooke) Warren, Isaac (Amy) Collins, and Eli Collins; her brother, John Clester (Beverly) Horton; her sister, Reba Cheryl Thompson; 26 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Each of these individuals was a precious jewel in the crown of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Dorothy's career was marked by her role as a supervisor and a seamstress at Shamrock Apparel, where she retired after years of dedicated service. Her work ethic and leadership were an inspiration to her colleagues, and her skill as a seamstress was admired by all who had the pleasure of wearing her creations.
A member of Harrison Baptist Church, Dorothy's faith was a cornerstone of her existence. She found joy in fellowship and service, and her commitment to her church community was unwavering. Dorothy's interests were as varied as they were passionate. She relished the simple pleasures of shopping trips and the challenge of completing puzzles. An avid reader, she could often be found with a book in hand, lost in the worlds between the pages. Her love for flowers was evident in the beautiful gardens she tended with care, and her fondness for visiting relatives spoke to the depth of her commitment to family ties.
Dorothy's life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of family, and her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
